Can't control DA14531 from PC terminal

Hello Dialog,

I'm using a DA14531-00FXDEVKT-1 to connect the PC terminal to SmartConsole Android App. Firmware on the dev board is Codeless Standalone Set-One.

I can send a string from the PC terminal to SmartConsole using pipe char. But can't send AT commands to control the module.

From the SmartConsole, using "AT+PRINT=sometext" I get response "OK" but nothing reaches the PC terminal.

Best regards

Filipe

The board I have is the small

The board I have is the small USB dongle,DA14531-00FXDEVKT-U.

The hardware is not the same as the pictures. What is the correct configuration for the DIP switch? Currently I am using the factory standard.

Is a transparent serial channel even possible with this board?

Hi filipesousa,

Hi filipesousa,

Please read section2.2. Hardware Setupfrom theUM-B-140: DA14531-DA14585 CodeLess.

According to the user guide:

"The DA14531 USB kit cannot be configured to boot from SPI flash and also operate a 2/4 wire UART - for this reason it is not well suited to being used as a platform for CodeLess."

http://lpccs-docs.dialog-semiconductor.com/UM-140-DA145x-CodeLess/howToUse.html

The supported boards:

- DA1458x Pro Motherboard with DA14585 daughterboard

- DA1458x Pro Motherboard with DA14531/DA14531 Module daughterboard

- DA14585 Basic board

——其他铜stom board using DA14531/DA14585 with a 2 wire UART will also work

Supported modules

- BLE5.0: DA14531 Smartbond TINY™ Module

Do you have any other DA14531 DK to test it?

Please a previous forum ticket:

Are you booting from SPI Flash?

Thanks, PM_Dialog
