I tired to follow the usual manual from page 157 onwards, but could not get the green pass when operating the GUI part with the error of xtal trim not working.

Hi andreswong,

Thanks for attaching the log file.

1. According to the log file :DUT IC: DA1469x. But the DA14580 is selected on the forum post. So, could you clarify which BLE device you are using?

2. What are the connections between the DUT (DA14580 or DA1469x) and PLT?

3. What is the SW version that the Golden Unit is running? It is explained in section 7.5 GU Upgrade Application.

4. Please do an XTAL trim test as described in Section 7.2.6.5 XTAL Trim (DA14580) or in 7.2.10.3 XTAL Trim (DA1469x). Make sure that “Burn to OTP” check-box in NOT selected.

Hi PM_Dialog,

1. I am currently using DA14580_RD_tester 078-55-D. However there is no option to click on the IC device and i check DA1469x instead. *the ble is DA14697, just checked it, the plt is DA14580*

2. I have connect 4 wires, to the PLT and DUT base on the user manual page 20. VBAT,DUT TX,DUT RX and GND.

3. Yes i have upgrade the GU to the latest version, app: v_5.0.4_PLT_v4.4 , ble: v_5.0.4.

4. i have done both xtal trim test as described. yet the error still appear. please advice thank you.

Thanks,

Andres

Hi PM_Dialog,

The screenshot is the file I used to upload for the image path. It that correct? I had tried different files, such as the one mention in the user manual "prox_reporter_580.bin" and it does not work still.

Thanks,

Andres

Hi andreswong,

I assume that you have a custom design, so could you please clarify which BLE device you are using?

DA14580, DA14531, or DA1469x?

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Hi andreswong,

According to the previously attached screenshot (image path file 2.png), you are using the prod_test_531.bin which is for DA14531 product family.

In case of DA1469x, please check sections 7.2.9, 7.2.10 , 7.2.11, 7.2.11 from the user guide :

//www.xmece.com/sites/default/files/2020-12/um-b-041_smartbond_production_line_tool_4v5.pdf

The prod_test_69x.bin should be used- see section 6.8.2 DA1469x Test Sequence

Thanks, PM_Dialog
