DA7212: unable to enable HP zero crossing

Posted bymilesvp15 points 3 replies
0 upvotes

I'm having an issue with DA7212 HP zero crossing setup.

I can't seem to get anything I write to 0x6B or 0x6C to stick. They always read 0xA8 after the following code runs. I've tried setting 0x6B and Ox6C to 0x98 both before and after engaging SC2. Still I just end up with 0xA8 on these registers.

Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

双胞胎- > writeCODECReg (0 x1d 0 x80);/ / Softreset双胞胎- > writeCODECReg(0x92, 0x00); //Set Ramp rate to default delay_ms(40); Twi->writeCODECReg(0x90, 0x80); //Enable Digital LDO Twi->writeCODECReg(0x29, 0xC8); //Enable AIF 24bit I2S mode Twi->writeCODECReg(0x22, 0x0B); //Set incoming sample rate to 48kHz Twi->writeCODECReg(0x94, 0x02); //Set PC sync to resync Twi->writeCODECReg(0x27, 0x04); //PLL_CTRL PLL disabled Twi->writeCODECReg(0x32, 0x01); //MIXIN_L input from AUX_L Twi->writeCODECReg(0x33, 0x01); //MIXIN_R input from AUX_R Twi->writeCODECReg(0x34, 0x03); //MIXIN_L gain 0x03 default 0db 1.5db steps Twi->writeCODECReg(0x35, 0x03); //MIXIN_R gain 0x03 default 0db 1.5db steps Twi->writeCODECReg(0x36, 0x6F); //ADC L gain 0x6F default 0db, .75db increments Twi->writeCODECReg(0x37, 0x6F); //ADC R gain 0x6F default 0db, .75db increments Twi->writeCODECReg(0x39, 0x00); //MIC1 gain Twi->writeCODECReg(0x3A, 0x00); //MIC2 gain Twi->writeCODECReg(0x2A, 0x32); //Route DAI to Outputs Twi->writeCODECReg(0x4A, 0x00); //Line Gain 0x30 default 0db 1db steps Twi->writeCODECReg(0x4B, 0x09); //MIXOUT_L input from DACL 0x08, input from AUXL 0x01 Twi->writeCODECReg(0x4C, 0x09); //MIXOUT_R input from DACR 0x08, input from AUXL 0x01 Twi->writeCODECReg(0x47, 0xCD); //Enable charge pump, CP_MOD mode, CPVDD/1 and Boost CP Twi->writeCODECReg(0x95, 0x36); //Set CP threshold to 0x36 Twi->writeCODECReg(0x96, 0xA5); //Set CP Tau DELAY to 64ms Twi->writeCODECReg(0x30, 0x37); //AUX_L gain from 0x53 default 0db 1.5db steps Twi->writeCODECReg(0x31, 0x37); //AUX_R gain from 0x53 default 0db 1.5db steps Twi->writeCODECReg(0x45, 0x6F); //DAC L gain 0x6F default 0db, .75db increments Twi->writeCODECReg(0x46, 0x6F); //DAC R gain 0x6F default 0db, .75db increments Twi->writeCODECReg(0x48, 0x37); //Set HP volume 0x39 default 0dB, 1db increments Twi->writeCODECReg(0x49, 0x37); //Set HP volume 0x39 default 0db, 1db increments Twi->writeCODECReg(0x50, 0xF0); //Enable ADC, Mix Twi->writeCODECReg(0x51, 0xF7); //Enable DAC, Mix and HP amplifiers, engage system controller 2

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out.

I took the same register writes and created the same file for out smartcanvas, but was not able to replicate/ able to change any register including zero cross. The Register writes are fine, no issue.

唯一想我s that you have probably lost I2C communication

Please let me know if you have further questions

Kind Regards

Shivani

I have no reason to think it's an I2C problem. I can write to the MIXOUT registers (x4B x4C) at will in the code elsewhere.

I'd like to take a look at your attachment, but I get a 403 forbidden when trying to download while logged in.
