SUOTA via PAN1740

The Dialog USB Dongle and the PAN1740 Dongle are very similar.
SUOTA via the Dialog Dongle works very well but with the Panasonic Dongle the over the air link is not stable.
Scanning is OK but after establishing the link SmartSnippets disconnect the device after about 10 Seconds

The XTAL16M_TRIM is not set in the OTP - perhaps the frequency offset is to big.

Is it possible to change the TRIM Value by the FW which is downloaded to the dongle ?

Hello R Garter, please find

你好R袜带,请查收以下responise我had from Panasonic.

The very first modules on the dongle didn’t have the trim value inside the OTP.

It seems to be the case here.

As countermeasure it is possible to adjust the trim value via JLink and text file with trim value inside.

I will send you a file containing :

  • JLink.exe
  • JLinkARM.dll
  • loadbin.txt
  • LoadTrim.bat

Inside the txt file the values define the command for loading a value to a register (w2), the register value (50000002) and the (default) trim value (640).

The user simply needs to execute the batch file LoadTrim.bat to load the value to the respective register (every time after power up or reset).

However, the user is able to change the value as required for testing.
