DA14531 Module Flash programming

Re: DA14531 Module (Dialog Semiconductor)

Hello. Have received the preliminary details of the pending DA14531 module for which we are tooling up for our designs.

Due to the limited bonded out pins on this module, how do we program the onboard flash using our custom PCB at the factory?

Can the flash be programmed OTA after the product has shipped?

What are the recommended "keep out" areas for the onboard PCB antenna for this module? At this time, we have 4 mm clearance surrounding the PCB antenna. Is this enough?

Are such technical support documents for this module available at this time for our review?

Thanks.

Hi. Have the details now for

Hi. Have the details now for the clearance of the module for our custom design from the datasheet.

May we receive information on how to flash program the module after soldering onto a PCB? Assuming it is based on the UART with TX & RX use, which exact port pins map to the TX & RX pins? What are the related UART commands to reflash the firmware? The hardware details are more important so we may close our PCB layout asap.

The UART pins listed inside the DA14531 silicon datasheet used by the boot rom are not applicable for the module as those port pins are not bonded out on this product.

In short, how to flash the SPI flash in this module over UART and which UART pins are to be used to program a fresh module?

Thanks.

Hi mom2

Hi mom2

DA14531 SmartBond微小™模块现在发布!佛llow the link below to find datasheet, documentation and HW collaterals for the module:

//www.xmece.com/products/bluetooth-module-da14531-smartbond-tiny

Additionally, Dialog Serial Port Service (DSPS) and CodeLess are now available for the DA14531! You will find both in the same link.
